Spillage of intact specimen fluid over skin/face/eye
Prevention measure:
- Follow universal precaution as per guidelines during grossing of specimen.
- The grossing person must be vaccinated beforehand.
Corrective
- Wash the affected area in running tap water.
- The person is referred to medicine/skin/ophthalmology OPD for further Treatment
Spillage contain
- Gloves, Gauze piece
- Mask, Cotton
- Sodium Hypochlorite, Plastic Bottle
