Enough biopsy material or tissue specimen should be collected for histopathological examination.

Surgical biopsy and surgical specimens are received at Histopathology section with complete clinical details and properly filled request.
Tissue submitted for histopathological examination should be preserved in 10% formalin, should be properly labelled with the name, reg. no, ward, age, sex, clinical diagnosis and with properly filled request form. In case of frozen section tissue should be send in Normal saline.
Mention following clinical information in request form:
