Users
Generally review of results are done by authorized personnel and senior faculty
Procedure
Hematology and clinical pathology
- After sample being processed on automated hematology analyzers haemogram is generated which are cross-checked by slide. All reports are entered into diagnostic software by data entry operator/ technician/ residents which are password protected.
- In case of abnormal hematological/coagulation finding, it is correlated clinically and rerun/repeat samples advised whenever needed.
- Reports are verified and electronically released by authorized signatory which are accessible at clinical side.
- Computer printants are given which are verified by authorized signatory.
- The printed reports are arranged at dispatch window according to ward which are dispatch by OPD servants Signature of ward person is taken into the dispatch book on delivering of reports.
- In case of misplacement of reports, person who come to collect the reports is asked to submit acknowledgement slip Sample IP no and name are verified and after that printed report is given.
