CARE AND MAINTENANCE OF MICROSCOPES
Handle the microscope carefully and gently to avoid sharp knocks.
Microscope should be placed at such an area which is free of dust, vibration, high temperature, moisture and direct sunlight.
Do not leave dirt, dust or finger marks on the lens surface.
Before replacing the lamp or fuse of microscope be sure to turn off the main power supply.
Clean the lens surface with cotton.
Only to remove finger marks or grease use methanol.
For cleaning objectives use xylene for oil immersion lens only.
Avoid the use of any organic solvents (methanol, ethanol and xylene) for cleaning the painted surfaces and the plastic parts of the microscope.
Never attempt to dismantle the microscope by yourself.
Get your microscope checked periodically.
