Installation of MP_2001L
- Download the file “Raster”
- Do following in terminal as shown in screen shot below.
- Open http://127.0.0.1:631/ .
- Go to administration
- Go to Add printer option
- It will ask for user name and password
- Username is: root then enter the password and click ok
- Screen shows list of printers
- Click on MP 2001 L from list of printer.press continue
- The screen shows name and description of printer.press continue
- The screen will shows available models
- Now click on MP 2001 L (en) and click on add printer
Troubleshooting of MP_2001L
| Problem | Solution |

| If printer prints multiple pages on both side perform following steps for one sided printing | Go to administration—>Go to manage printer option—>Screen shows name of printer.select MP_2001L from list—>Screen shows descriptions of printer.In that click on administration—>In administraion click on set as default option—>Now go to general and off the 2-sided printing |
| If printer prints multiple pages on both side perform following steps for one sided printing | Go to option “Ctrl+P”—>Select page set up—>Layout—>Click on option “Two sided”—>Click on “One sided”—>check by printing |
If the printer breaks down and still willing to see reports: type“gmcsurat.edu.in:12346” in chrome browser, then enter “doctor” in username and password. then click in “biochemistry report”, then enter “sample ID”, then click in print.
