It was observed that sometimes when TBIL and DBIL levels are very high in sample, it interfers with ALP results as it is measured at 415nm filter. In such sample though ALP level is normal reaction absorbance reaches beyond Abs Lim and it repeat the sample with dilution and gives wrong results. When such sample is diluted mannually, ALP result comes within normal range.

What to do when erba shows “ISE TIME OUT OCCURED” message during electrolyte calibration??

-Give pepsin wash manually.

-Check lithium or chloride electrode for any blockage as this electrode is not being use, clean it properly by adding pepsin with small needle.

-Check out if any kincking in out flow tube, if there is any kincking found cut that tube and replace this tube by new one.

-Do not wash Sodium and Potassium electrodes by needle as electrodes may get damaged by needle.
