It was seen that During centrifugation vacuttee cap touches rotor of centrifuge while it is in horizontal position so it prevent the bucket to come in vertical position.to prevent this following should be done.during cotton filling equal amount of cotton should be fill in both the rotor(opposite one)in same position.see below picture:

STEPS:

1. Load balanced samples and close the lid
2. After power on check following on Display[PRG. No=0] [RPM=3000] [Rotor No=19] [Brake=M] [Min=10]
3. Press START button
4. Wait till alarm (dip noice) for 5 times and again RPM = 3000
5. Open the lid and unload samples

Precautions:

1. Do not change the parameters of programs
2. Press the button of lid lock of cover at the time of closing cover to prevent malfunction of lid lock
3. Match bucket number with number on rotor,both numbers facing each other.
4. Do not handle without gloves.
5. Stay away during centrifugation.
6. Switch off the centrifuge when not in use.

Steps

1. Load balanced samples and close the lid
2. After power on check following on Display
3. [PRG. No=0] [RPM=3000] [Rotor No=19] [Brake=M] [Min=10]
4. Press START button
5. Centrifuge fluoride and plain vacutte for 10 minutes at 3000 rpm.
6. Wait till alarm (dip noice) for 5 times and again RPM = 3000
7. pen the lid and unload samples

Mistakes

5. Stay away during centrifugation.

Observations:

1. If sample is highly hemolyzed,lipemic or icteric ,add examination interference in that sample id and write “sample is hemolyzed”.
2. If sample is highly hemolyzed , add examination rejection in that sample id and write “Sample is highly hemolyzed send new sample.
3. If any fluid is highly viscous so that it can block the probe, add examination rejection in that sample id and write “sample is too viscous for any analysis to be done”

How to clean centrifuge: Centrifuge Maintenance sheetcentrifuge_maintenence_sheet.ods

1. First remove all 4 buckets.Pull bucket vertically to remove it.

4. Clean buckets and entire centrifuge(internal part) with 1% HOCL solution with cotton.
5.

8. Clean buckets and entire centrifuge(internal part) with cotton soaked with tap water.
9. In case of spillage with blood,
10. keep cotton soaked with 1% HOCL over spillage for 30 minutes.
11. Discard that cotton according to waste management rule.
12. Again Clean buckets and entire centrifuge(internal part) with 1% HOCL solution with cotton.
13. Clean buckets and entire centrifuge(internal part) with cotton soaked with tap water.

Precautions:

1. Be careful about exchange of samples.
2. Do not use same tip to separate the serum. Use new tip for every sample.

-There is error in centrifuge,stop after reach 3000 RPM ,then check by removing rotor still error continue

-Then again properly feet rotor, error solved centrifuge start working properly
