Calculation Of LDL / VLDL by LIS system automatically
- Open 10.207.3.240
- Enter your user name and password.
- click on 'edit'.
- Enter sample_Id and click on 'edit_sample'.
- In Status, Change from “entered” to “analyzed”.
- click on'save_sample'.
- Open Autoverification menu
- Enter that Sample i.d. and click on “Refresh”.
- Values are calculted.
Calculation Of LDL / VLDL by manually
- Formula for LDL calculation = Total cholesterol - (HDL + VLDL)
- VLDL = TG/5 , VLDL can be calculated by this freidwald formula if TG ≤ 400 mg/dL
