Selection of examination procedure

Select method for examination which satisfy following criteria

  1. Use Procedure for evaluation, audits and resolution of complaints to understand examination requirements of patients and clinicians and other stackholders.These is useful to decide weather an examination should be included in the laboratory scope or not.
  2. The examination procedure can be carried out using instructions for use of in vitro medical devices available in the laboratory. While performing procedure, the devices should be used as per manufacturer's instructions.
  3. The examination procedure is published/validated in established/authoritative textbooks, peer-reviewed texts or journals, or in international consensus standards or guidelines, or national or regional regulations. Include such references in laboratory documentation of examination procedures
