Preparation of water saturated with Butanol

  1. Butanol saturated with water can harm acrilic of equipment
  2. Add 200ml butanol in 1 lit water. Mix. Allow phase separation
  3. Take infranatent using separating funnel
  4. Add small amount of BPB dye to help visualization of Butanol layer.
