Preparation of Aliquots

  1. Write sample id on ependroff cups with permanent marker pen on the rough surface of ependroff cup.
  2. Arrange them in ascending order in the rack.
  3. Aspirate serum from the centrifuged vacutte with the help of 200 uL pipette.
  4. Dispense the serum into the respective sample id ependroff cup.
  5. Recap the ependroff cup as soon as possible after dispensing serum.
  6. Put ependroff cups with cap in refrigerator(2-8 ') if analysis is delayed.

Sample preparation for HDL

  1. Print examination wise worklist for HDL cholesterol(CHOH).
  2. Write sample Id on rough part of ependroff cup according to worklist.
  3. Dispense 20 microliter HDL reagent in each ependroff cup.
  4. Add 200 microliter sample in ependroff cup after matching sample ID written on ependroff with vacutte.
  5. Incubate sample and reagent mixture for 20 minutes.
  6. Centrifuge cups at 4500 RPM for 10 minutes after incubation.
  7. After centrifugation , Put cups as sample in Erba XL-640.
