Procedure after Erba XL-640 probe injury

First Aid- At Site of Exposure
  1. Wash exposed part with water or Normal Saline
  2. Do not Squeeze the Wound to bleed it
  3. Do not use any Disinfectant over exposed site
Dose of post exposure prophylaxis
  1. Take 1 tablet (From ART kit ) immediately after exposure
  2. Tablet is combination of Efavirenz 600mg+Lamivudin 300mg+Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate 300mg
  3. One month before the expiry date, replace the ART kit with a new one.
  4. Visit Dr.Sanjay Patel (MO, ART center,contact no-9978303068) at ART center (OPD no 21)located in hospital
  5. Then take next dose every 24 hourly
  6. Drugs should be stored in dry and cool enviroment so drugs are stored in refrigerator no. 11 at 2-8°c.
