Phenol used for ADA purpose is 7-10% in concentration. For orthopedics purpose, they need 5% phenol.

How to make 5% phenol?? so we take 5 phenol cups (containing 1 ml in each cup and its concentration is 7-10%) in sterile micro cup and then add 5 ml of DI water into it.

And also we have to label this micro cup that it is 10 ml 5% phenol. Dispatch this solution to ortho resident only by teaching staff of biochemistry, not by biochem residents.
