1. Take 20 ml plastic reagent bottle.
2. Take 5 ml of reagent in this.
3. Put reagent bottle in machine whenever test come.
4. Do Blank and qc at that time.
5. Perform patient samples.
6. After that remove bottle from machine.
7. note: Xylidyl Blue reagent is alkaline. It's exposure to air results in absorption of CO2 from atmosphere. So, on board stability of reagent is poor.

Do HCL test first. Then Magnesium. After then Calcium.

Calcium also react with Xylidyl Blue dye.
