Entry of sample into LIS

  1. Open 12.207.3.240 (In the lab). Open 10.206.10.246 (In the OPD)
  2. Go in New –> New Direct(Transporter).
  4. Following screen will be seen.
  6. Fill basic information.
  7. Click on Examination—>BI.
  8. Following screen will be seen.
  10. Select the examinations those are requested.
  11. Click on Save button.

  4. Fill patient name, MRD NOumber and select Department, Unit and location of patient admitted and sample detail.
  5. click Submit.
  6. Following window will be seen.
  8. Now select sample type following which examinations will be displayed. Select examinations asked by clinician. If multiple sample type and its examination are requested, select all sample type fron same window. i.e., select Blood(serum,plasma)Flouride→ select Glucose→ click Blood(serum,plasma)None→L+R+E→select Blood(Whole)EDTA→HB Electrophoresis and Dithionite test and Click save.
  10. Following window will be seen which shows all details of patient, sample, investigations and next assigned number of laboratory for sample. See below.
  12. Click on barcode. and Print the Barcode.
