During collection the initial portion of the urine stream is allowed to escape while the midstream portion is collected *After collection patient is asked to keep the sample in sample tray *Samples are received at reception counter of clinical pathology laboratory. *Samples for body fluid are collected by clinicians in ward and received at reception counter of Clinical Pathology Lab. ===4.Instructions to clinicians for selection of examinations=== Refer to the table below to find weather an examination will be available or not at the time of collection. Safe disposal of materials and biomedical waste management=== *Always wear personal protective gears like gloves, mask & glasses while handling infective urine and body fluids container. *The urine & body fluid container are directly disposed in red bag on daily basis by servant under supervision of staff nurse. *Red bags are carried out by Envision on daily basis for further disposal procedure.
