|Na hippurate(base)|10  gm|
|Hippuric acid|2.25gm|

  - Add Tris base and Na hippurate into 900 ml Di water.
  - Add hipuric acid in that solution.
  - Check pH,it should be 8.8 
  - Make up to 1000 ml. 
  - Check pH again.pH 8.8 should be final.  
**Note:** The refernce literature mentions 3gm Hippuric acid to be added. We have found that it is resulting in acidic pH as compared to pH 8.8. Our ecperiment shoed that takin Hippuric acid 2.25gm Ph will be 8.8.
