======NEER PLANT====== {{ :nchsls:c:biochemistry:document:water_treatment_plant_at.pdf |}} ==1.MAINTAINENCE SHEET== {{ :nchsls:c:biochemistry:document:maintenance_sheet-2.ods |}} ==2.FLOW CHART== {{:nchsls:c:biochemistry:document:plant.odg|}} ==3.SOP== -This plant is divided into two parts: -A) R.O.PLANT {{ :nchsls:c:biochemistry:document:img_20170704_121057_1.jpg?400 |}} -B) TYPE 1 WATER PLANT {{ :nchsls:c:biochemistry:document:img_20170704_121149_1.jpg?400 |}} -The R.O.Plant is supposed to be operated first.(Left side of the room); -First Check water supply -The inlet valve should be in the position shown as below; {{ :nchsls:c:biochemistry:document:img_20170704_121000_1.jpg?400 |}} -Kindly switch on the switch labelled as 1. {{ :nchsls:c:biochemistry:document:img_20170704_115743_1.jpg?400 |}} -Make sure that the knob of the sediment filter is directed towards the FILTER position. {{ :nchsls:c:biochemistry:document:img_20170704_104148.jpg?400 |}} -The operating mode should be MANUAL. -Motor A to be switched on first and then Motor B. -The pressure displayed in the pressure gauge should be <10 ( APPROX 2.5-5) -The reading in the tds meter should be < 9 tds {{ :nchsls:c:biochemistry:document:img_20170704_104219.jpg?400 |}} -The flow in rotameter should be approx 200.( the black ring will come at the topmost position due to flow of water) {{ :nchsls:c:biochemistry:document:img_20170704_104236.jpg?400 |}} -The inlet from R.O. plant to the water tank is shown as below: {{ :nchsls:c:biochemistry:document:img_20170704_104257.jpg?400 |}} -Wait for the tank to get filled up completely. -Now,after the tank has been filled up completely,the R.O. plant should be switched off. -Motor B to be switched off first, then Motor A. {{ :nchsls:c:biochemistry:document:img_20170704_104219.jpg?400 |}} -Switch no. 1 to be switched off. {{ :nchsls:c:biochemistry:document:img_20170704_115743_1.jpg?400 |}} -The water tank: {{ :nchsls:c:biochemistry:document:img_20170704_121113_1.jpg?400 |}} -Now, the D.I. Plant( Type 1) has to be operated.(Right side of the room) -Before,operating on it, kindly make sure that the empty water cans to be filled are ready and more than two personnels in-charge are ready. - Switch no. 2 has be switched on. {{ :nchsls:c:biochemistry:document:img_20170704_115754_1.jpg?400 |}} - Switch no. 3 has to be switched on. {{ :nchsls:c:biochemistry:document:img_20170704_121008_1.jpg?400 |}} - Switch no. 4 has to be switched on. {{ :nchsls:c:biochemistry:document:img_20170704_121016_1.jpg?400 |}} -The outlet from the tank towards the D.I.plant is shown as below: {{ :nchsls:c:biochemistry:document:img_20170704_104310.jpg?400 |}} -Make sure that the knob of the resin is directed towards the FILTER position. {{ :nchsls:c:biochemistry:document:img_20170704_104401.jpg?400 |}} -The water will get filled up in a medium-sized water can. {{ :nchsls:c:biochemistry:document:img_20170704_104422.jpg?400 |}} -Finally, smaller 10 ltr water cans can be filled up. {{ :nchsls:c:biochemistry:document:img_20170704_104438.jpg?400 |}} -After the cans are filled up, Switch no. 2, 3 & 4 to be switched off respectively. **__Originally Prepared by Dr Manmeet (R2, Biochemistry,2017)__** ======Maintainance of RO water plant====== -Make sure that the knob of the sediment filter is directed towards the" backwash " position. -Switch on Switch no.1. -Mode should be Manual. -Switch on Motor A. -Do Backwash for 10 minute. -switch off motor A -The knob of the sediment filter is directed towards the" Fastwash " position. -Switch on Motor A and do fast wash for 5 minute. -Then switch off motor A and the knob of the sediment filter is directed towards the" filter " position and switch off switch no-1. -Cotton Fibre And carbon block are open with its adaptor.and cotton fiber is washed with water and carbon block outer surface is cleaned with cotton. {{:nchsls:c:biochemistry:document:sediment_filter_carbon_block.jpg?900|}} -This process is done weekly. ======Maintainance of DI water plant====== -Before backwash ,make sure that water tank is full of water. -Make sure that the knob of the Resin is directed towards the" backwash " position. -switch on switch no-2(motor). -Do Backwash for 10 minute. -switch off switch no-2(motor) and knob of the resin is directed towards the" Fastwash " position. -Switch on switch no-2(motor) and do fast wash for 5 minute. -then switch off motor and the knob of the resin is directed towards the" filter " position. -This process is done twice a day for 2 days in a week. ======Trobleshooting of RO water plant====== ^|Problem |Solution|^ ^|TDS meter reading >15 ,Low pressure < 2.5,less flow of water output|If the pressure is low,then problem due to sediment filter,carbon block,big filter.Put open the sediment filter.check it.and replace it with newer one.same procedure for carbon blocK.then do bach wash for 20 minute and fast wash for 10 minute.Check for pressure|^ ^|TDS meter reading >15 ,High pressure < 5,less flow of water output|If the pressure is High,then problem due to RO membrane.Put open the RO membrane. replace it with newer one.then do bacK wash for 20 minute and fast wash for 10 minute.Check for pressure|^ * Arrow should be between these two blue markings as shown in below image. {{:nchsls:c:biochemistry:document:whatsapp_image_2021-10-22_at_8.03.41_am.jpeg?1800|}} * When plant is started first see the pressure and flow of waste water from gutter ,it shoud be minimal as shown in below video ,then only change in pressure allow{{ :nchsls:c:biochemistry:document:whatsapp_video_2021-11-22_at_12.41.12_am.mp4 |}} --- //[[chapal@sdf.s|Dr Chapal]] 2018/08/01 13:45//
