Generally laboratory technicians, laboratory assistants and laboratory servants are required to use this procedure
======Procedure======
  -Review [[http://10.207.3.240/view_scope.php|Biochemistry, NCHSLS, Laboratory scope]] to find if sample needs to be stored at room temperature or there is any specific requirement.
  -Store received vacuum tube samples in racks ordered by sample_id.
  -For non-urgent samples, create a batch of 5-20 samples and handover samples to appropriate personnel for examination.
  -For urgent sample, handover them to appropriate personnel for urgent examination of the sample without waiting for other samples to create a batch.
**Preparation of Aliquots**
  - Write sample id on ependroff cups with permanent marker pen on the rough surface of ependroff cup.
  - Arrange them in ascending order in the rack.
  - Aspirate serum from the centrifuged vacutte with the help of 200 uL pipette.
  - Dispense the serum into the respective sample id ependroff cup.
  - Recap the ependroff cup as soon as possible after dispensing serum.
  - Put ependroff cups with cap in refrigerator(2-8 ') if analysis is delayed.  
  - if any sample seems hemolysed, take it its sample id and add remark in LIS taht sample is moderately or severely hemolysed, and also add LDH test in that sample as LDH is marker of hemolysis.
