=====Memorandum of Understanding Between Clinical Laboratory of New Civil Hospital Surat, Gujarat(**Reference Laboratory**) and Clinical Laboratory of XYZ Hospital of ABC City/Town (**Second Laboratory**)=====
 
Following is Memorandum of Understanding Between Reference Laboratory and Second Laboratory

  -No monetary transactions will occur between the two labs. However, the laboratory sending the samples will bear the cost of transportation and necessary TA/DA if applicable from QIP/RKS Grants
  -Both clinical laboratories will exchange samples with each other, for at least 2 times a year. However frequency can be increased as per requirements of both laboratories.
  -Samples may be sent from reference laboratory or vice versa.
  -Period between sending samples can vary depending on availability for samples with results around clinical decision intervals
  -Tests to be performed in samples will be decided at the time of sending samples, in consultation with both laboratory in-charges, depending on scope and need from time to time
  -The MOU will continue till one of the laboratory cancels it after giving 6 months of notice to the other laboratory 
  -The results obtained shall be compared statistically and for guidance follwing the most current edition of CLSI document **EP9 - Measurement Procedure Comparison and Bias Estimation Using Patient Samples**
